The Library Specialty Coffee: A Taste of South Melbourne in Toronto

The Library is true to its name. This quiet, minimalistic coffee shop lets the coffee speak for itself. Bare white walls allow the coffee bar to stand out and be the focus of this small but airy space. Trained by Melbourne’s very own St. Ali. owner Jeffrey has honed the Melbourne specific coffee style and has gifted Toronto with its delights!
I often frequent the Dundas Location on my walk to the Eaton Centre or on my way home, stopping off in Grange Park and watching the dogs play whilst I sip my coffee.
The coffee is lovely, pricey but lovely. An oat flat white will set you back $6.72, while an iced Americano is $4.80 - They also serve up a Piccolo and an “Aussie Cappuccino”, which I’ve yet to try but it comes with cacao dusting (as it should). Let’s just hope it has a decent ‘mushroom top’ which I'm yet to find here in Toronto.
The Library stocks their own range of beans for sale which are largely sourced from South America and Kenya.
If you're in the Neighbourhood of Dundas or Queen West and you're hankering for a more than decent coffee, head to The Library Speciality coffee, you won't be disappointed!
Happy Coffee Drinking!
